Response #11- Argument

I believe Sojourner Truth is a woman because she represents pride in a way that makes her look powerful. She obviously isn't educated in the sense of not going to school but her speech says otherwise. Her voice sounds so powerful and passionate. She asks "Ain't I a woman" and not just her physic but her mentality. I think she is strong and she is a good icon to represent women. According to Sojourner being a woman should be something to take pride in, she's saying that a woman should not be underestimated because after all we can do the same things and if not more than what men can do. She thinks all women should have the same rights as men. I completely admire her statement about the priest saying that women shouldn't have the same rights as men because Christ wasn't a woman. If Mary wasn't there Jesus wouldn't have been born, so who's really to thank? Mary. I agree with everything that Sojourner Truth says, being a woman is something to take pride in, us women should stand together and we should be equal. Woman will turn the world back around some day. We will stand strong.
